Jane Waters
Therapist

Jane is a licensed behavioral therapist with over 20 years of experience. Jane provides counseling services for many of the young women seeking services through CPO. She is a published author and conducts seminars and workshops.

Jane's view on her purpose with CPO:
Therapy not only focuses on the issues of parenting vs. adoption, but also deals with the unhealed childhood pain which affects current behavior, feelings, and relationships. However, the main focus throughout my therapy is the healing power of God. I can do nothing without Him. Above all, we need to know that we all have hope of healing through the Holy Spirit.

My job is to listen to the girls' pain, share their tears, confront them when they need it, and provide myself as another Christian role model. Some of the girls like me, some love me, and others... well let's say they'd prefer not to come see me!!!

It is because I love them that I will not give them permission to use their wounds as an excuse for not being who God needs them to be. I hold myself to the same standard. I hope that I can be His instrument of healing so that when we all meet our Creator, He will say to us, "Well done, good and faithful Servants."
