God has not brought you to CPO to let you walk through the adoption process alone. We’ll be here to help, every step of the way.
• Adoption Mentor:
We will match you with a couple that can answer your questions and offer support as you walk through the adoption process.
• Adoption Support Group Meetings:
At our monthly meetings, you will meet people who understand exactly what you’re going through. You’ll be able to share, ask questions, hear real stories, and learn from seasoned adoptive couples.
• Waiting Families Workshop:
Our semi-annual Waiting Families Workshop is an excellent introduction to CPO and the Open Adoption process. The Workshop sessions are conducted by CPO partners, experienced volunteers, and seasoned adoptive couples who have “walked the walk.”
The presenters provide pertinent information while they share the good, the bad, and the ugly. You will laugh, you may cry, but most of all you will glean an understanding of the heart of CPO and the adoption process. Completion of one Waiting Families Workshop, by husband and wife, is a CPO requirement before finalization of your adoption. Workshops are $350 and are held the 3rd weekends of June and November.
